Leanne West is an internationally recognized leader in pediatric innovation and translational engineering. She serves as Chief Engineer of Pediatric Technologies at the Georgia Institute of Technology and as Chief Research and Innovation Officer at Shriners Children's, where she leads strategic efforts to accelerate the development and clinical translation of technologies designed specifically for children.

In 2026, West was named Atlanta Business Chronicle's Innovator of the Year for Pediatric Health, recognizing her transformative impact on pediatric medical device development, cross-sector collaboration, and commercialization.
